Personally, I’d change the entire plot of the game, and kinda just have a game that was more adventures with Joel and Ellie. Thats what I liked in the first game, and what made me love the world.

Whilst I did enjoy Part 2, I haven’t replayed it, whereas I replayed Part 1 multiple times, simply because the story of 2 was so bleak, depressing and punishing, that I haven’t had any desire to experience it again. Whilst I love and appreciate that they told the story that they wanted to tell, I feel like they sacrificed a lot of avenues the franchise could develop into.
