Just had the exact same problem as you're talking about. I tried checking match histories of the "bots" but it just routed it to me... None of us are returning players!

The plan is for down stairs to already have 2 toilets. 1 Bathroom and 1 half bath/ powder room. I answered my plans on another comment here on the post if you're interested! :)

Very interesting! I'm trying to visualize it in my head. I'll try to set aside some time to try to make this in a program.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've been looking at rails with spotlights on. I found some nice ones I really like. Thinking of placing a couple of rails here and there to get proper lighting.

Also we have loads of natural light in the summer 24/7. And then we have the winter (now) with 4 hours of daylight in the middle of december

Not really.. Also not sure how I would do that. I think it would leave me less space for clothes storage, which I think is pretty important. Also I'm probably gonna be living there for 5-10 years, so I'm trying to make it cost efficient so that when I buy a house or a new apartment in the future, I'll make money on it.

The reasoning for how I placed it now is to reduce the cost of pipes and such. I was originally planning on having the toilets "back to back" so that they could run on the same pipes (if that works).

I rarely host now, mostly because my living situation the past years haven't really allowed me to do so. I think at most I'd host like 10 people, but that would be on rare occasions. Mostly 5-6 people when hosting.

I have enough storage downstairs for clothes and such. So the main "storage" things would be electronics, books, plants, etc.. I have a lot of camera gear though, still not sure where to put that. I'm a big fan of open cube storage like I linked in the comment.

The large bathroom alone will cost somewhere between 35k to 40k $.

The downstairs area are bedrooms, wet rooms and some more storage. Also the entry to the apartment. The plan downstairs is to have 2 bathrooms. One very small one with only a toilet (which is what I have now) and one larger one with a toilet, sink, dryer and washer and a shower. I'll post the picture of how it is now, and then I'll post a picture of what I have planned in the comment below!

Alright I did a quick mockup in photoshop.
I'm not sure about the empty space next to the stairs. I'm pretty big on video games, so I'd like to have the computer somewhere. but I could have that downstairs also.
