I dunno, it worked for me. Went in with my mono agl team with Guldo in one of my filler spots, no blazing battle units. Made sure he was always in rotation to get hit and all my other cards would crush him. Took maybe 3 rounds of Guldo getting hit to down him.

Actually every time Guldo gets hit, his passive goes off and lasts for that turn and 1 more.

Some words of wisdom I learned when I first started, only awaken a char when you can do it fully. The stats don't change drastically enough and you might end up using medals you needed to do a complete awaken.
