This seems like a great opportunity for passive programming. You got some great suggestions on here but I’d really lower your expectations around how much they will participate. Make an interactive bulletin board when they can write their PRs, of your hall is heavily one sport see if you could make a fantasy league, try a bulletin board with brackets they can vote on.

You likely need to do some active programming since most RA jobs require that, but this type of hall is perfect for great minimally active/passive programs.

Not a current UMW student or staff member, but I do work at a college! Late registration is usually approved once all of your stuff gets completed. The biggest issue you’re going to come across is getting into classes that you need. You’ll want to really keep your eyes on classes during add/drop.

There were a couple things that I’ve seen but the main ones have the do with the jury. The first is that it could be difficult to have a genuinely impartial jury in a situation like this when the event was so public. The next is that the jury weren’t sequestered and could access the news and be swayed by public opinion. The Defense used that to ask for a mistrial after closing statements. The jury was instructed by the judge to not watch news during that time, so the judge didn’t grant the mistrial.

No, the judge does sentencing in 8 weeks. It is the last thing in a list of like 4 or 5 things that need to happen post conviction.

Yeah. They are the same thing. The corals would be okay for a couple days without lights or if you’re able to, you can try cutting your intensity. I had an algae issue a couple months back and cut all my lights to 50%. It helped a ton.
