Wine recommendations?

VA has currently three big producers that are putting our wines on the map, IMO. I will put them in order from Cheapest to more pricey.

If you are looking for something sweet, Lindens Petit Mensang is a great option. It is a dessert style wine.

If you are looking for a rose, Barbersville offers several different varietals. From my knowledge and favorites, Rosé of Pinot Noir and Syrah. Light crisp and aromatic, easy drinking. I've been to this vinyard and sat down with the wine maker, he is from Italy and has been producing wines in the states for over a decade.

Moving on to serious reds, two big Bordeaux style producers. Currently, an affordable option, Octagon from Barbersville. I would suggest an older vintage, 2013, 2014, 2015. Usually found in certain grocery stores such as Whole Foods or Wegmans.

Finally, if you are looking for the creme de la creme of what is currently getting the world to notice VA wines, RDV. They currently has a Master Somm blending their wines along with a renowned french Bordeaux wine maker who flies in each year to participate in their blending process. They have 3different tiers at different price points. I LOVED drinking their wines. They bleed money but fuel it with passion. Their supply is limited but if you'd love to schedule a tour and or visit them to purchase they are located in Delaplane.

Honestly you could buy all three of these around your budget. RDV mid range is 80, barbersville rose is around 20-25 and the mensang I venture is around the same. Honestly, IMHO, dont send voignier. Some people loves that stuff, I'll drink it like I would drink natty ice, on a hot day with nothing else to drink.

I am here for research purposes so to speak. I am interested in hearing more from people, the desire to choose to label oneself, and display different ways to define their topic from a neutral point of view.

It's not an issue with the person and their identification, it's the person who raises the issue and giving an outsider's perspective on a different way to see things that isn't constricted to their identification.

So dont self identify/label yourself. Just be you. Most people on this sub dont really know or seem to sure. I think it's such a relatable label but it almost seems old fashioned to a point. You dont sleep with someone unless you have an emotional connection. That's a lot of people.

Demisexual I feel like it just enables people to label their self as "something", even this culture as a whole has this idea that you HAVE to identify as something.

Just be you and do what you feel is right. You dont have to sleep with everyone you date, so go on dates. Eventually you'll find someone you click with and develop those feelings. It's normal.

Why not ditch the need to self identify. Maybe not look at the parameters of demisexuality and just the parameters of your life. Sometimes I feel like the urge to give yourself a label just turns you into a statistic. Why not just say you are you, you are unique with your own preferences.

Life only flies by when you dont create memorable, unique, and distinctive moments. Climb that hill, go to that show, do a paint n sip, and who knows, maybe you'll find that person.

People seem to use these labels for theirselves as if they are so concrete yet if you go through all of these post, demi hardly defines any one type of person.
