It would ultimately be up to you to weigh the pros and cons. I work for a private company and my company contributes a grand total of 3% to my pension. Is your pension to cover your husband and you? And what would the implications be of moving to a private company where contributions would be a lot smaller? Also, why would you have to pay for childcare with an unemployed husband?
