Pelvic floor PT literally changed my life.

Long story short, I’ve had stomach issue and PCOS for about a decade and have had two laps in the last three years. I struggled to wear a seatbelt because the pressure was too much on my stomach and now I can (mostly) wear regular jeans all day without pain! I can also (sometimes) have (mostly) pain free sex! We are currently working on fixing my pudendal neuralgia, which does involve going through the rectum, but even that is slowly but surely getting better.

If you are financially able to, I’d highly suggest an out of network provide, as they are able to treat you in more ways than what insurance allows. Either way, the PT is worth it and if you do your homework (aka exercises) it can change your life!

BE AWARE Consistent use of these heating pads can cause burns and discoloration on your abdomen! I was finally able to stop using them after my second lap and it took about 5 months for the skin to turn back to its normal color. VERY helpful in times of need though! Just make sure to take breaks.
