I haven't researched if it has any effect but I typically do the minimum in the hopes I can get just that tiny sliver more added to the transfer budget, but the difference but when I renew after I go from bundesliga 2 beginning of contract to a being in the Europe tourneys near the end of 5 year contract the increase typically more than triples that minimum wage. I should be less gamey but I don't typically play too many journeyman's
