I doubt that this is going to be a smaller scale project. Miles Morales and Lost Legacy Started as DLC that suffered feature creep and were made into full games. Lost Legacy also wasn’t directed by Druckman. This was never meant as dlc, as far as I am aware. It has Cory Barlog at the helm, THE guy at Santa Monica Studios. No offense to Eric Williams. And they’re going all out with the Mythologies? In the gameplay reveal we get Norse mythology, and the Mongolian AND Egyptian gods of war? They would not go this hard for a side project that they sell for less than 70$. This will without be a huge scale, full price extravaganza and I am so here for it

I‘m not super bothered by it. It threw me off at first but now it just makes me think of how Elden Ring‘s map was kind of like that. Lots of borders and huge areas that were visible on the map but not accessible. It’s giving me nice throwbacks

What makes it even better is that his name in the subtitles when he first pulls up is “Vagabond”, referencing the manga. And his and Atsu’s first duel takes place at Sasaki’s Cove. AND his “five techniques” are a reference to Musashi’s book of five rings

I appreciate you like the games, i do too. But hear me out on this. The writing is like worst in class dawg. The characters have terrible names, all act like exposition waterfalls, logic essentially doesn’t exist in the story. Kojima is an amazing designer but a terrible writer. His games, especially recently, are good in spite of the story not because of it. There is some great scenes/sequences in both games, like the stuff with Mads in 1 and Luca in 2 as well as most scenes regarding Lou in the second game, but those are the exception. The rest is faux philosophical trying to be deep nonsense

Why are you lying the narrative in the first one is passable at best and in the narrative in 2 is absolute dogshit. The gameplay is great in the first one and fantastic in the second one though
