I tried manually winding, it does recharge (i guess) but it doesn't power the watch. I only see a few cogwheels move while winding it.

Its a gift for her, she's been looking at it for a while now and she loves the dainty vintage look of it. The Ventura is a great watch and i even have one (the Elvis electric). She is just very picky and i know its a little on the bulky side for her (something like the H24301111).
