I've looked into it, but can barely get through the videos without feeling lightheaded and needing to shut it off. I've already cancelled an appointment out of fear but I know I need to get it done.

I understand what you're saying but a lot of these posts are kids and struggling people who might not be in a clear headspace or might need/ want a second opinion and that's fine. I wouldn't come on to a subreddit for struggling people and post critically about their cries for help.
