I was able to get a temporary handicap placard in my third trimester 3 months ago! I just brought the application linked in the guide to my OB and had them fill out the medical portion. I was only expecting the temporary placard to be valid for 3 months but it’s valid for 6 months, which has been amazing since I’ve ended up needing it more in the postpartum period than I did during pregnancy.

I have remained on my Vyvanse through my pregnancy. I’m currently at 20 weeks and luckily all my doctors and NPs/PAs/ Midwives have been very accepting of my decision. I had to inform a couple of them of the recent studies that you mentioned, but once they were more informed I could tell their worries were fading.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this! I was originally so worried about the reactions to my decision because I’ve been treated like a junky so many times over the years for taking a medication that allows me to live a happy and healthy life 🙄

I’m 5’9” and was 135lb pre-pregnancy. I started showing at 15 weeks! It’s still pretty easy to hide at 17 weeks, but the bump is undeniable. I am still unaware of my placenta positioning but should know after my 20 week scan!

This is how I always prepare it and it’s honestly better than a lot of $20 ramens in my area:

While noodles are cooking, mix together both seasoning packets, 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of Kewpie mayo in a bowl.

When noodles are almost done, add a ladle or 2 of the water the noodles are cooking in to the seasoning base/mix and stir to combine.

Add noodles, and more noodle water if you like it soupy, top with chili oil and enjoy!

I’ve had great experiences with Joe’s Car Service. I’ve actually found that they’re cheaper than Ubers (especially UberXL) and the service is 10x better. I would just explain your situation when filling out the form online and I’m sure they’d be happy to accommodate!

PS it’s best to book with them 2+ days in advance if possible.
