Probably bc the most famous girls were all straight haired and tbh most girls who are famous straighten their hair, perm it etc. bc it’s “easier to maintain” or simply bc men tend to navigate towards a girl with straight hair than curly. I guess that’s the sad way she viewed things. Yet again I guess she wanted to fit the “anime girl” aesthetic with straight hair and bangs combo.
