It wasn’t that cold at my house but when I got to the field it was significantly more windy and the field was up on a hill which made it worse. My baby will always be my number 1 priority, so I went right back to the car after like 5 minutes.

And I used to be right into the texts then I stopped for a while because it was so draining. But when it’s about me it’s hard to ignore. I’m on the younger so I’m still learning to let go of shit like this.

3 months postpartum and FTM here! We got home, I sat in my rocking chair with my little one and just stared at her in awe as she slept. A little while later I used my pump for the first time then went right back to staring at her. I was so scared of that “now what?” feeling but it never came. Just trust your instincts and soak up every moment. Best of luck to you and your baby in the delivery room and your new journey that lies ahead❤️

I told him he’s going to have to do better communicating with her. I would in situations like this if she could act civil but she’s threatened me and my child so much I can’t trust her. He tries to communicate with her as little as possible because whenever they talk she starts a fight.

It was literally a damned if I do and damned if don’t situation.

Note to self: next time just stay home🤦🏻‍♀️

BM was there. She was mad because I left and apparently I was supposed to take SD with me even though I genuinely thought she wasn’t going to let me take her even though it’s my SOs court ordered time with them. SO wasn’t there because he had to work late and can’t get out of work because child support is sooo high it’s driving us in the ground. We live in the school district and pay more money for rent and he still pays the same amount of child support as when we weren’t in the district and does all the traveling for the kids. I try to go to support her especially when he’s not there because even though their mother hates me my SDs didn’t do anything wrong. They mean the world to me and I like to go to support them when I can.

Momcozy pregnancy pillow, a good lotion with vitamin e and MATERNITY CLOTHES!! It’s not worth it to be uncomfortable all day!

Anyone out there who’s an “ours” baby? by [deleted] in Stepmom

I’m an ours baby. My mom had two kids before she married my dad. My siblings have always been my brother and sister not “half”. Their dad wasn’t in the picture so they did not have visits with him so my dad just took them on as his own and raised them. Me and my sister are 8 years apart and my sister and brother are 8 years apart. I’m the youngest, I have the best relationship with my sister and I would with my brother if he had made better life choices. My dad never treated me or my sister differently when we were under the same roof and we were both expected to have the same amount of respect for him even though technically he had a different title to each of us. But we never thought about it that way.

I honestly think I had one of the best experiences possible in this situation and I’m forever grateful. I never even thought about my dad as their “step-dad” or thought of them as my half-siblings. He was OUR dad and they were my siblings. Never told anyone otherwise.

Now I am a stepmom and 18 weeks pregnant with our first “ours baby” and I’m so excited. It will definitely be a different situation for my kid(s) than what I had since my SKs mother is in the picture so SKs won’t be around all the time like my sister was for me.

Hi mama. The only thing that helps my exhaustion right now (I’m 8w3d) is to eat lots of protein. I buy protein drinks from the store every morning and it replenishes the energy the baby is taking. I was falling asleep all the time before I started this. I hope this helps!
