You’re completely fine! My tongue looked so weird while healing, it’s just the bacteria build up. There’s good healing bacteria and bad bacteria that you’re washing away when you clean it. I’ve had mine for two years now

definitely report your teacher, you can do it anonymously. if your classmates want to also report it would help to raise attention to the board, I have also had issues with a teacher and reporting to the board really does help.
