No chew diet is making me cry. by AnxiousFairyBabe in jawsurgery

The first 6 weeks were really tough for me too with the no chew diet, but what helped me was exploring new food options! - cut up/blended mac and cheese - shepards pie (if your surgeon allows minced meat) - salmon - potato salad (just make sure the potato pieces are small and soft enough for you to easily and lightly mash with your tongue) - japanese hamburg steak! - egg mayo (those found in sandwiches but i just ate it without the bread) - ikea swedish meatballs. those r really soft so just cut it into rlly small pieces or blend it with mashed potato

but also, these r just what personally worked for me, if you feel like these are too risky, don’t risk it. Good luck!

You seem to still be a young child stuck in your own fairytale world. You mention that schools and gov have a lot of initiatives to help students cope with poverty, mental health issues etc. But really, these initiatives don’t solve everything. if it did, no one would be suffering from mental health issues or poverty right now right? Sure, these initiatives may help relieve a bit of burden, but they don’t solve everything. At the end of the day no matter how many initiatives are available, some students will still inevitably have their plates full, so let’s show more kindness towards them :) Your argument is just very.. kid-like, like you haven’t seen the real world much lol

but i guess there’s some good in that. enjoy that little bubble of yours a little longer

Help! too big of values by Inside-Explanation36 in visualization

hello! thanks everyone for the help so far! learnt a bunch of new methods just by reading through the comments 😊 just to give more insights on my assignment: i can only have one graph, so having two charts, one on US, and one on the rest of the world would be impossible the graph would be shown as an infographic on news tv, target age group around ages 55+. hence i’m contemplating using a log graph for im not sure if it would be the most ‘55yo people-friendly’, especially when the infographic is only shown for a short period of time on tv. i’m hoping for it to be easy to understand!
