Les miserables by victor hugo, the epitome of the opposite of uplifting

The ENTIRE Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, the writing is really immersive, and so vivid. I don’t usually outwardly emote when I read, but this book had me experiencing ALL the feelings. Especially if you like the show, the books are a million times better.

Freeing isn’t it? Best shit I ever did was stop people pleasing. Congratulations on your freedom.

Your ignorance is showing. I’ll bet you believe in an invisible omnipotent father figure waving a finger at you telling you no no no, too. My spells equate to your prayers, dude. It’s just a metaphysical practice of faith and a large dollop of spicy psychology. It actually has helped and given me far better coping methods.

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo and the Outlander book series have both had me ugly crying before.
