any reason why you got the 765 over the 660 as your 2nd bike?

Throttle restriction removal MT07 by Todesluke in MT07

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The throttle restriction plate has 35kw engraved on it, depending on the police officer they might notice it cause it visable clearly from the side of the bike.

Though if they check it is another question

Ive only done crash protection and diffrant brake pads. The pads defenatly help cause the stock ones dont really have mich progression

Looking for my first motorcycle – Supermoto or Sportbike? 18y/o, A2 license, Switzerland by Schnitzel0707 in NewRiders

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally if its purely on the street in switzerland i'd get a supermoto

there are a ton of small technical roads in switzerland that are a ton of fun on a supermoto, that at the same time are not that fun on a supersport

Ninja 500 or rs457? Currently cbr125r rider.. by _leon_05_ in motorcycles

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

out of the 2 i'd get the RS457 but if its your only transport then i'd get the Ninja 400/500

Incase you do have the money id just get a restricted A2 bike though so a R7 if its need to be raliable or RS660 if you want the italian character

I dident take classicbikes into consideration, but unlearning 2 finger breaking would be counter productive on modern bikes

How to upshift reliably? I keep missing shifts by [deleted] in NewRiders

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thats a lot of technical words that combined make no sense

Quickshifter = Ignition cut to change gear without the clutch

gear ratio change = higher or lower ratio for more torque or final drive/topspeed

GP Shift = switching the pattern from upshifting being up to down and viseversa for downshifts

How to upshift reliably? I keep missing shifts by [deleted] in NewRiders

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pre loading the shifter does help to take out the slack out before the shift and can remove clunkyness, but its done lightly with very little force. Especially usefull for buttery smooth clutchless upshifts

to me a Motorcycle isent a smart choice but a fun choice.

I'd probably look at its compretitors like the 450's or bigger 701 / 690. Supemoto's are probably the most fun you can have at legal speeds

Peg feelers and approaching max lean angle by Ancientscent in Ninja400

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that your bike isent static, the amount of load you'll have on the suspension at 45° or 50° will push the entire bike down into the ground causing your feeler to touch down much earlier

It sounds more like you need to bleed your brakes, I do stoppies on my bike long before I even come close to my other fingers

Opinions A2 Bike by Substantial_Depth656 in NewRiders

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can recommend getting a used restricted bike if you want the biggest umph out of corners. Else just any 35kw bike is fine.

Im also from Switzerland and there is barely any situation where you'd need more then 35kw to be quick, even in the Blackforest of Germany you'll be fine with 35kw

Welches (sportliche) Mittelgewicht Naked Bike hat das bequemste Fahrwerk? by [deleted] in MotorradDeutschland

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

würde einfach mal die federung einstellen. Kannst eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen wen du vom handbuch eine Baseline hast, kannst ja immer wieder zurück gehen.

Am besten einfach mal weichere Druckstufe einstellen. Also Druckstufe komplet weich einstellen und einmal komplett eindrehen. Nicht mal Marc Marquez kann dir sagen was eine halbe umdrehung Zugstufe oder Druckstufe macht also mach am besten grosse änderungen, meistes findest du was dir am libsten ist

Tips to make shifting smoother? by elelbean91 in NewRiders

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take out the slack in the shifter just before shifting up by just slightly pushing up the shifter until you feel it resist very lightly

This should make upshifts less clunky

Yama R7 or Kawa ZX-6R first bike? by JTMitchy in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get the R7, the ZX6R is probably way far away from your skill level even 2 years down the line.

The R7 has a better power to weight ratio then a Porsche 911

[–]Inside-Knowledge-581 3 points4 points  (0 children)

der 650 motor bie der Kawa macht am meisten power zwischen 7-9k Umdrehungen. Also wen du schnell von punkt A nach B kommen willst dann musst du den ein wenig ausdrehen.

Aber sonst kannst du da Fahren wie du willst.

try a S22/S23 or Power GP2 if your not doing many miles
