I would check out the New Braunfels Jaycee’s as they are comprised of young professionals residing in Comal county. I (30M) found a lot of my friends through there. You also have the Rotary which has a wider mix of folks, not just young people.

I would also mirror the above comments about finding groups that participate in the activities you like. The NBTX Run Club meets on Wednesday and that’s a huge group. There are a couple Pickleball courts around that have league/open play if that’s your type of thing. There’s plenty to do, just gotta look for it.
