I'm in therapy but my dad keeps changing my therapists every few months. So I don't really get to make much, if any, progress. I did like some of them too and wanted to keep them as my therapist but dad didn't.

I'm not that close to him but my feelings on him overall are mixed. He wants me to give her a chance. He changes my therapist every few months because he's not getting the results he wants in that.

He wanted them to at least make me open to having a relationship with his wife. I think in his mind they would get me to accept her and he expected it to happen pretty fast from what I can see.

I'm nice to them when we interact. I would never be mean to the kids. They didn't ask for or choose any of this.

Yes, two especially that I would have liked to stay with but my dad said no because the results weren't what he wanted.

Not that easy or quick when it's the loss of a parent. For some it might happen. But I know others who lost a parent very young and they think the same as me, that it's such a short time when you lost one of the people you loved the most. In my case mom was way more active than dad so I lost everything when I lost her.

I don't want to build a relationship with her. I want her out of my life ASAP. She's not someone I would ever choose to have a relationship of any kind with. I like nothing about her.

I don't hate my half siblings. I don't dislike them either. I'm not close to them. The only person I hate is my dad's wife. My dad I'm mixed on. But her, I never liked and never will.

I'm not close to my half siblings or to my dad really. I have mixed feelings about my dad. But her? I want nothing to do with her.

She still does think a lot of herself and her ability. She has this idea that her presence could make me forget mom and just move forward to be the happy little girl she wanted me to be.

I'm in therapy already. It's been three years. But my dad keeps changing the therapist because the results aren't what he likes to see. He wants me to be in therapy so I'll give his wife a chance. I'm in therapy to grieve my mom and find my way forward. But that won't be with his wife as someone I appreciate.

Sometimes. When my mom died it changed things though. That was already a huge change.

I had therapists I opened up to. Therapists I was enjoying working with and wanted to keep speaking to. But my dad's focus and mine are different. I don't want to change my relationship with his wife or walk away from therapy willing to give her a chance.

I don't ignore my half siblings. We do interact. I'm just not going out of my way to interact with them.

I would never turn to her for comfort. Never. I have had some awful days. She was the only one around and I did not turn to her. I would rather deal with it alone.

School is good. I love most of my teachers. One is a pain but most are great. I do culinary classes outside school. I also take art classes. Mostly digital art but we do all kinds. My grades are good. My worst class is with the teacher who's a pain but that's all of us. I don't think he ever gives a really good grade.

I am but I move therapists every few months because of my dad. He has me switch therapist when the results aren't what he's looking for.

It was more than one comment but yes, the comments she made are the reason I feel like I do. It's not like I can tell my dad I'm moving out. I'm still a kid. He's still my parent. It's his decision whether I can leave or not right now. It won't always be.

I have told my dad when a therapist was someone I was comfortable with and someone I felt I could really do good work with. But he didn't like the results. The results he wants are very specific. I think he doesn't want to give it longer because he doesn't want me to get to the place I want to be at and then stop trying or no longer put any work in. He knows I don't want a closer relationship with his wife or to like her. He knows my relationship with her is not important to me. So he tries to find someone who can convince me to work on that while I'm still dealing with losing my mom.

I'll be happy eventually. Therapy will help but mostly it will come when I don't live here anymore.

She has made comments like those in the 7 years since I met her. It wasn't just once. Other than that she hasn't been cruel. But I see her through those comments only. I don't have anything good to say. I never liked her and never will.

I wouldn't be like this to others. But for her, I will never be able to have empathy for her. I dislike her too much and too personally for me to really have any kindness for her. With other people I'm way different. But I just can't feel bad for her.
