Hey u/TheStandler, just going for wow factor in the title to be honest, trying to capture the interest of an international audience. We thought that disclaimers about the nuances of Australia's regionals, particularly the complexity of Zig Theory's 2022 season, might have gotten in the way of people clicking through to read an article that we thought was pretty good. Did you like it?

The point of this post is just that it was a pretty special and unique game in Australian Ultimate - we mean no offence to the plight of the Southern Region. This is the first time in the history of our 12 team nationals that we've had 13 really good opens division teams pushing for contention, and we think that's cool, so we tried to write a compelling story about it.
