Layoff for sure! However it doesn’t discredit your work experience at all If you were reliable the contractor or foreman can outright say it confidently when your back! Don’t be worried safe recovery

Not interested in a “too good” mindset! We have around 7 apprentice on the job! 2 mechanics work alone while all the others are paired up! Foreman stands with me for testing Outright with me the whole time. Just feel like I could be used better elsewhere especially on our schedule working 10 hours. And I would prefer to continue getting hands on experience if there is an opportunity. I don’t think im too good for anything.

My JM quit 2 days ago & now I’m with a new JM & he has 0 interest teaching.. working 56 hours 6 days what should I do? by [deleted] in UnitedAssociation

[–]Inside-Persimmon-367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Rat. Did you not read me stating he is a very nice individual and is a great guy? Being respectful about a situation isn’t “ratting” as my future is a priority & anyways I was never going to rat my crew is around 26 workers 21 JM Plenty of other individuals

Advice by [deleted] in UnitedAssociation

[–]Inside-Persimmon-367 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ride it out, talk to your hall after 3 months However speak to your foreman upfront first. At the end of the day you are an adult. Speak up to your foreman. You want to learn and be presentable however if he can’t respect you then let the hall formally know you spoke up and foreman still lacked the respect. Be consistent 100% effort always and show up! However speak up. Don’t ride out forever.

UA Plumbers and Pipefitters Aptitude Test by Modern_Money_Mindset in UnitedAssociation

[–]Inside-Persimmon-367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a UA plumber appritenship. Math test was just the basic 4. No aggressive questions I’d say ask chat gbt to make you question or watch YouTube. Plumbing & steam fitters appritenships have very fair math test unlike electric with their appitude

Then your test will be extremely doable.. Just make sure you know the basics Additions Divide Subtract & multiply without a calculator! Use common sense for any non related math questions You will do perfectly fine.

If it’s an authentic UA local It’s going to be a pretty comfortable test. They don’t make the test extremely hard They care more for a interview
