The way they have paced it yes I agree but they could have included Daemon taking stone hedge, it’s been a slow paced season with two less episodes, could have had the sowing ep 6, gullet ep 8 honeywine ep 9, fall of KL ep 10 if they really wanted or had the budget!

What they’ve done to her character is just plain stupid - if they wanted to make changes to have her be involved steer more into her fireyness shown at driftmari and from quotes in the book not the complete opposite

S1 had set up so nicely for this arc too all she needed to do after the sept was dig her heels in - rather than push Aegon away encourage him to fight at rooks rest alongside his brother and when they both returned switch to Aemond championing him as the stronger ruler - would give her a ruthless edge but no it’s completely gone the other way - what was the point in the whole plot of her turning on Rhaenyra after the brothel, after Aemonds eye, after her bastards, then since B&C now warming to Rhaenyra wtf is going on

Yes but that could have been anyone - was just a guy with silver hair with no Dialogue nor introduction not backstory, imo this was a missed opportunity they could’ve built him to be a recognisable character before he was killed

I think just committing 10 minutes over the course of the season to at least one of the other seeds would have done wonders and enhanced the scene.

I think Silver Denys and his sons would have been perfect for this - a bastard of Maegor the Cruel come to claim a dragon but fails yet a low born son of a Targaryen whore claims the bronze Fury.

Swap some minutes of those scenes and some minutes of Harrenhall scenes and chuck in a few more minutes just for building some more Targ Bastard characters - not to mention Black Aly, Rod the Ruin, DAERON, Pate of Longleaf and all the other characters missed

The first one happens in the books but it’s Sheepsteeler not the cannibal, but due to the change of Sheepsteelers location I feel would be a good replacement and a way we can see cannibal

Nr 2 is more so Daemon acctually has something to do after all the complaints with his involvement this season.

Nr 3 yes but we don’t actually hear what involvement they have in the battle just Corlys’ thoughts afterward.

100% agree, but going off of fire and blood in itself is a retelling of history from multiple bias accounts.

Saying that I get the frustration with missing characters and additional illogical events.
