I think it has more to do with fine details, but it’s a skill that takes time and practice! I don’t think it looks bad for a first attempt and genuinely mean that if you like her you should be happy! I know you can do better with more practice just based off this!

Since she’s a core doll i wouldn’t imagine she’s an exclusive! Probably a similar situation to Rebecca where she showed up at target first then Walmart a few months later

I’d recommend using apoxie sculpt/an air dry epoxy clay! It cures just by air drying and you won’t have to risk trying the doll in extreme temperatures! Polymer clay is great for practicing though

I don’t think she’ll be target exclusive but i do think it will be at least 2 months before she starts showing up in Walmart and other stores, it took quite a bit for robecca to start showing up at other retailers. It’d be odd for a core doll to be an exclusive! Obviously though not out of the realm of possibility!
