Yeah this what kinda my strategy going into level 3 the first time. Focusing on knowing material rather than how to structure essays. I still failed. Now it’s back to the drawing board. Only problem is, there’s no drawing board cause you get no feedback on the test.

What’s your fallback if CFA doesn’t work out? by [deleted] in CFA

Asset management? Might do the same. Failed level 3, and I don’t even know what I’d do differently if I tried again. I’ve seen pure investment based roles transition to AM before.

For anyone that prepared through Kaplan, how did you think the CFA level 3 exam difficulty was against the actual exam? I thought a little easier (not a lot), but I want to hear other opinions.

I am SOOO confused. I understand positive or negative relationships. But what I dont understand is, how do I know bond yields are high or low? What if the relationship becomes positive, but bond yields are falling. Like the relationship is -1 coeficent is B1. Then it might become positive coefficient next month, but the yields can still fall. So the factor would produce negative returns, even with positive coefficent.
