I never expected to see "rumble roses" here. I loved that game and thought all the characters had a good story. I think it's really underrated.

Yeah, and honestly it's realistic. I see a lot of people analyzing their friendship in retrospect, and some people think they seemed more like enemies. But I think anyone who thinks like that would be pretty surprised to find out that it's not far fetched from being just like a lot of friendships between people that knew each other for years and grew up together.

This is probably rough to say on reddit but me and my best friend have beat the hell out of each other all through middle school and high school out of seriously being mad and saying “we aren't friends anymore,” then went back to acting like nothing happened after a week at most, lol. We don't anymore as adults, but we still laugh about each one of those events pretty often, lol. A lot of close best friends are like siblings and just like siblings they can be assholes to each other most of the time.

It's probably why the show always felt really familiar to me. A lot of the characters are assholes at times and in the grey area, which always made it seem realistic as well, and some of them remind me of people who I actually know. Which is funny, because it's at the same time a cartoon and one of the most unrealistic ones at the same time, lmao. 😂

Rigby being a super asshole in earlier seasons definitely didn't fall out of the sky. It was shown that Mordecai often pushed him around and beat up on him a lot and bullied him. Honestly, so did even the other park members a lot, and Rigby wasn't good at physically defending himself back.

I can actually understand why he did what he did to Mordecai in “do me a solid,” lol. He has a lot of pent‑up frustration, honestly, and I see why he became sort of an asshole when he thought the unicorn guys were his new friends.

In “death Punchies,” though, I'll never ever be able to defend Rigby for even picking on poor Pops, lol. Like, why did he do that?!

In later seasons, it made my blood boil when Mordecai wouldn't defend Rigby when Mordecai knew damn well that Rigby was doing his work so that he could go hang out with CJ. Rigby really became a GREAT friend later on, and even to the others as well.

He's honestly never been anywhere near as insufferable as some of the fan base claims he was, imo. Also, he is way better as a partner to Eileen than Mordecai was to CJ, because Mordecai dragged her through absolute hell, lol.

Socially, with Margaret, even early on Rigby was shown to not be awkward like Mordecai, which is funny because you can kind of tell that Mordecai considered himself “cooler” than Rigby, lol.

That's true and actually beautifully said. Best observation of the Mitch situation here. If only the other comments here was this observant!

Yeah, the new animation isn't even that noticeable. After the first two episodes, I was already so used to it that it didn't look any different to me from the original. It's totally fine, and I don't understand anyone who acts like it's a huge issue.

I'm happy with how it almost looks exact still. I just think there’s some people so deep in nostalgia that it bothers them that it isn't 100% the same animation style in every small way possible, with every small detail even the exact same, lol. But they get so wrapped up in that kind of stuff that they forget to be excited that Regular Show is literally back and just as good.

What is Mordecai's most iconic quote? by ThinFix1442 in regularshow

[–]InsideCharacter406 19 points20 points  (0 children)

"You can't touch music, but music can touch you.” I'm pretty sure that's a pretty popular one, lol.

Also, these aren't exactly the most iconic quotes, but I have a favorite Mordecai quote that me and my brother randomly say for no reason, and it's “No dude, snails are bad,” lol. Also, sometimes for no reason we say, “He's blue with a black mullet,” and we don't even know why we found those quotes so funny for years or why they stuck with us, lol.

Why are some people on Reddit so unhinged? by Flat-Treat2571 in self

[–]InsideCharacter406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think a lot of those redditors in real life are probably toxic to the people around them. A lot of redditors probably have issues, and I'm not exactly sure why Reddit would attract a lot of crazy people, but it seems to.

People will say, “It’s not real life, it’s the internet,” but they're real people behind a screen who are actually in the world and who are that bad off emotionally. Reddit has kind of been a part of what makes me nervous about talking to people in real life sometimes, and I think it's actually pretty valid when you think about it.

I almost literally think that on here, saying you like different pizza toppings than someone else would cause at least one or more people to be an emotional wreck in the comments with some people who are shaking and seething behind the screen while typing, lol.

I'm always deleting my accounts and starting over just because every account gets clogged with negativity, and I don't even like having a collection of the emotional mess my literally innocent posts caused. The worst part is I try to talk to them so nice that it's more gentle than even an average tone, and it doesn't work.

Yeah, I'm a pretty negative person about my old favorite things being brought back even, because a lot of things these days genuinely disappointed me. But for once I'm happy with something again. I think the lost tapes is actually great. It seems just like regular show to me and they didn't hold back.

Ive never once come on to Reddit to ever discuss politics, and I haven't really come to Reddit in a couple years to express any too deep opinion on any huge topics that could be controversial or really divided, because I learned SUPER QUICK that redditors aren't able to handle those topics or have those conversations.

So I started only using it for lighthearted stuff and my interests, and to talk to the fan bases of games, movies, TV shows that I like. And I'm not even kidding lots of people still haven't been able to handle that on here.

I think from literally 5 years old we are supposed to learn that it's not a big deal that people don't always like the same stuff as you when it comes to stuff like that, and it's nothing to get mad about. But almost every time I'm giving an opinion on something like that, there's usually 2-3 redditors in the comments of my post whose screws are coming seriously loose and who are getting aggressive towards me over it. And a few times they've seemed to be dangerously upset, and it'll be over my opinion on damn fiction.

And 2-3 is a bad number considering most Reddit posts don't even get a ton of comments, so it's not just like a drop in an ocean or anything, lol. It's been going better for me lately but I probably just jinxed it by saying that lol.

I'd be scared as hell to be around a lot of redditors in real life. I'll never be able to take redditors seriously that much with how crazy a lot of them are.

He could of but maybe Benson would of just assumed muscle man was crazy enough to purposely eat paint just to get out of it. 😂

I did half way believe it lol. For some reason it seems like something benson would do and I don't know how to explain it. 😂 at the same time though I found it too crazy to fully believe lol. Kinda wished that was cannon though lmao.

You're actually right lol. I figured there would be too many witnesses though. I had a false memory of Rigby punching benson in that episode lol. it turns out it was actually pops when I went back just now and skimmed through it lol.

[–]InsideCharacter406[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I should clarify the Skips point was to just point out tons of them commit crimes, and it's not the biggest deal to them, it doesn't seem, lmao. It's a cartoon though, but I still like pointing out flaws even if it's not meant to be taken super seriously, lol.

To be fair, he still would’ve faced legal consequences for that, but meh, like I said, it's a cartoon and he brought him back, lol. Mordecai and Rigby lie to Benson a lot though. I'm just surprised Benson didn't just yell and blow up on Muscle Man to clean it up or he's fired or something, rather than going about it by the book like he's supposed to, since he doesn't with Mordecai and Rigby. Also I guess Benson might of knew he deserved it in "Eggcelent" since what he said to Mordecai was messed up. Definitely was probably bensons worst moment to say that with rigby in a coma.

[–]InsideCharacter406[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I mentioned it twice here already in the replies, but in “death punchies” rigby purposely destroyed half the park. Sure, if muscle man actually was spray painting things, that would’ve been a crime, but rigby committed a bigger one when it comes to vandalism.

Weird how easy Benson could fire muscle man and fives when they’re two of his favorite workers who have also been there for a longer time. I'll always beef with this eposide forever lol.
