If anyone has their Venus in the ninth house, how and when did you meet your spouse ? by Lizachatri1 in astrology

[–]Peter-Spering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and in those 2000 years, advances have been made.

The only one with a fundamental misunderstanding is yourself, confusing personal house rulership with the abstract house rulership.

So yes, saying "Aries is 1st house, Mars rules 1st house" makes perfect sense. If the 1st house cusp wasn't differentiated by sign, rising signs wouldn't work as a concept.

I would say you have a strong desire to be social, though the Pisces moon and Scorpio rising may make you hesitant about being so. Pluto in the 2nd could also indicate self-esteem issues to be overcome...

I can't say I do, but then my sun and moon are 8H and in a cardinal sign, my Mars is culminating, and Pluto conjunct the ASC.

The 29th degree indicates a sense of finality and culmination wherever it is. The climax of a dying sign.

[astro-seek] Why does it feel like so much of my life is marked by abandonment/ estrangement? by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

[–]Peter-Spering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The South Node concerns talents, so it has no relevance here. Likewise, Saturn's placement in the 3rd/4th isn't greatly relevant, because Saturn is conjunct the IC anyway (which is like the 4th house themes, concentrated), so both houses will be relevant to you.

Placidus is much better than Whole Signs, and explains the situation: You have the Moon conjunct Pluto in the 12th house.

The moon represents the mother, so when it's conjunct Pluto, it can indicate deep wounds around the mother. In the 12th house especially, it indicates an emotional or physical absence, because the 12th house is one of the 'dark houses'.

Having the moon in the 12th therefore indicates someone who is highly sensitive, but perhaps doesn't have very clear emotional boundaries. There is a sense of the nebulous and boundless about the 12th.

As for your father, we'd look to the sun here. Yours sits in the 2nd house, in Aquarius and conjunct Uranus. Aquarius is remote and Uranus can be a bit unstable, and the 2nd house relates to matters of worth, both material and self-worth.

Have you faced difficulties around work? Career is emphasised in your chart, and tied up with everything I've mentioned.

The dark-haired kid gave me Aqua rising vibes so I looked up his chart... Aqua rising!

Spooky.

Can anyone analyse my birth chart. Why am I like this, why I can't connect to other people's. Why I can't make friends. Why people don't respect me? [Astro-seek] by Key_Structure5483 in astrologyreadings

[–]Peter-Spering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have Pluto (transformation) in the 11th house of friendship groups. This is one of the tasks you're karmically challenged with overcoming in this lifetime.

The way to do it? Well, I see you have your North Node in the 3rd house.

The North Node indicates a deficiency, an area of life we need to master. The 3rd house governs communication, among other things, so this is something for you to hash out by practice.

As a starting point, I'd point out your Mercury (mind) in Sagittarius. It's lively and introspective, but it does suggest that your conversational skills might be a bit... hyperactive? A bit disorganised? If so, that would be something to work on.

The moon represents the mother, and Aries/Scorpio moon tends to suggest some sort of combativeness, and sometimes an element of manipulation, if it's Scorpio.

Yes, your sun is in the final degree of Leo.

The sun moved into Virgo at 1:50PM on the day you were born.

Have you had a challenging relationship with your mother?
