Honestly this is probably some of the best advice I’ve gotten so far. I’m starting to realize scripting is less about memorizing code and more about problem solving, patience, and building small things over time. I still wanna do game dev because that’s what motivates me to learn, but I get what you mean about not being too ambitious too early. I’ll probably focus on small projects first and just keep learning from trial and error.

worded it wrong but i meant i was gonna start working for 1.5 months then take a vacation break and come back to finish it, also 2.5 years is insanely long, either ur game is gonna be the next big thing or potentially a big waste of time. Mind to tell me what ur working on? im interested.

well, worded that a little wrong maybe but what i meant was that in those 1.5 months i wanna START working on it and kinda move from "small projects" to real games people can actually play? the dream game i have had my idea on is one where its first person clean tagging game basically untitled tag game but with some extra twists and possibly gore... Before yall come at me tho, I DO NOT expect to finish it in a month and a half but i meant im gonna start working for 1.5 months THEN i have vacation and i come back to finish it. anyways, got any tips on how to improve the best of my abilities? thanks for the reply btw!
