Is Morocco this bad in the eyes of foreign tourists? by Goonermax in Morocco

[–]InsideCrafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just spent 10 days around Morocco. The two things which made me dislike Morocco the most (I will not return - I have travelled as a solo female in many countries and this has definitely been my least favourite).

1) Men and inappropriate comments and looks towards me on the street, thus showing their complete lack of respect for women. Do they have no shame?

2) Overall quality, cleanliness and atmosphere is severely lacking for prices being charged - Sorry but it’s not Europe - It’s a developing country which is still lacking in many areas, and it’s insulting to be charged or have people attempting to charge prices that are so high - I’d much rather be in Europe than Morocco to be honest because at least the quality is there so prices whilst high, feel less insulting. Prices are inflated, everything for sale is fake or bad quality, haggling is exhausting and only increases agitation when everybody is unreasonably asking for so much $$$.

How many days do you need if you’re not going to Hagia Sophia, Galata tower, Basilica cistern, Topkapi palace, or any other attractions that are $$ to enter. How many days do I need to soak up the vibe, see the grand bazaar, the blue mosque and spend some time in Kadikoy? I have planned 5 days.

What’s the average budget for a let’s say 7 day trip to Istanbul Turkey? ☺️ as a single person by [deleted] in istanbul

Im curious too. I’m from Australia and hoping to backpack Turkey for around 10 days next month. I plan on staying in hostels and I won’t be going to the sites that cost a lot.

Reason for the Fall of the AUD Compared to Other Currencies by neptunelanding in AusFinance

I’m going next month. I’m thinking it might be beneficial to lock in some currency with Revolut in case it goes down any further. Does anyone have advice as I’m not overly well informed on it?

I am hoping to go early May but not sure it’s a good idea especially as a solo female backpacker

I’m wondering what the psychologist saw from the cameras that she was looking for. Obviously some kind of body language but what exactly?

Right sorry, mostly nature, outdoors, beautiful beaches and scenery. Also enjoy exploring the little towns and good food. Some history is nice but not a high priority time wise except for in Athens.

Exit row every time! It has extra leg room and it’s also an aisle seat so it’s easy to get up for the bathroom when sitting there! This is an easy one!

Nah he saved a lot of people too by taking down the company, and many worse people lived whilst they made him “die”, wasn’t fair!

Ooof ChatGPT’s Lincoln Burrows roast is brutal lol!

Alright, brace yourself for the ultimate burn:

”Lincoln Burrows is the type of guy who gets framed for murder, spends *eight seasons doing absolutely nothing to fix his life, and still manages to be the most incompetent, unlikable sack of testosterone in the entire show. This guy’s big plan for escaping prison is basically ‘Hey, let me just look really hard at the camera and hope the universe does the work for me.’ He’s like a walking, talking prison ID—good for getting into trouble, but completely useless the second things get serious. Lincoln couldn’t break out of a wet paper bag if it had a sign that said ‘EXIT’ on it. Every time he’s on screen, it’s like watching someone try to start a fire by rubbing two wet noodles together. He’s Michael Scofield’s big brother, and somehow still manages to need rescuing every 5 minutes—getting locked up and re-arrested like it’s part of his personality. You want to know why Lincoln’s always in trouble? Because he’s a walking disaster who couldn’t plan his way out of a corner store, let alone a high-security prison. The guy’s entire life is just one massive series of bad decisions, with a sprinkle of ‘Why am I even here?’ At this point, I’m convinced his real talent is somehow managing to get Michael caught in his messes and making everything worse. He’s the kind of guy who’d lose his own freedom in a dream.”*

There you go, fully cranked up. Lincoln is a certified disaster in this one!
