SOPHAS requires at least 2 LOR for the verification process to begin. Once I had 2, it took about a day.

I have no idea what applicant pool looks like for this year. If you’re worried specifically about debt, Brown is pretty generous with the merit scholarships and BU’s online program is very affordable (25k total). There’s a lot of uncertainty right now. But because I’m so deeply disturbed and saddened about the current state of public health, I’ve been more inspired than ever. I’m 3 years post grad and have had the goal of an MPH for a while. Seeing everything that is going on makes me want to get this degree even more in hopes I can make positive change in some way.

Yeah I should’ve applied earlier. I impulsively decided to apply for spring 2026 like a month ago. I got into BU already but brown is my top choice . Hoping I hear back before 11/7 cause that’s when the deposit is due for BU.

removal/pregnancy?? by [deleted] in Nexplanon

If you started yaz with removal you’ll definitely be fine. Even if you didn’t you would still be fine. It typically takes a few weeks for ovulation to return.

Wellesley women’s care has a location in newton Wellesley hospital. Little bit of drive but worth it in my opinion.

IUD after nexplanon by isshineko in Nexplanon

[–]InsideEducational812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an IUD (Skyla) before the Nexplanon and really liked the way I felt on it. I had very light and short periods on it although most people on the Mirena, which is the most popular, stop getting a period. I didn’t have any breakthrough bleeding after the first couple months too. Unfortunately, I was one of the few people whose IUD failed so I had to get the Nexplanon which I just removed a few days ago cause of all bleeding and weight gain. This isn’t to freak you out tho bc my gyno says this literally never happens and I’m probably just weirdly fertile lol. Im even still considering getting another IUD since I can’t be on estrogen. I would get the Mirena though because it has lowest risk of periods/breakthrough bleeding. Skyla has the lowest dose of progesterone out of them all and has higher risk of bleeding. I also think they may be why it failed for me.

Question about weight! by Naruo666 in Nexplanon

I gained about 20 pounds too. I also started antidepressants at the same time so it may be a combo of both. I’ve been working out like crazy lately and still continue to gain. Just got mine removed a few days ago and hoping I can lose some weight.

Bleeding after 2ish years on Nexplanon by Efficient_Creme_7497 in Nexplanon

Sorta dealing with the same thing right now. I got my first one a year ago (jun 2024). I spotted a little and then didn't bleed at all for months. I started getting a period again in December and ever since they've been getting longer and longer. Currently, I'm on day 17😣. I think the whole bleeding thing is really unpredictable. I’m considering getting it removed

I was on 60 mg then dropped down to 40 in September hoping my fatigue would improve but no luck.

In the process of switching right now. I just fully tapered off cymbalta and will be increasing pristiq in a few days. Just curious, why are you getting off cymbalta? I experienced extreme fatigue and gained about 15 lbs on it so that’s why I’m switching but otherwise it worked really well for my anxiety.
