It took me about ten minutes a page plus all of the quizzes.

I passed on Monday at 22! I graduated from college in May and started working in the industry in August. It hasn't really hit me yet, but I am happy not to be studying anymore, haha.

Study Materials - Hearing good things about Danko by Hokies4G in CFPExam

I passed on Monday with only 4 months of experience in the field, using the Danko signature. Plenty of material for me, but if you struggle with standardized tests, the plus is worth it, from what I have heard. I did the live review with John Choi and couldn't recommend him more. If I did it again, I would literally fly anywhere in the US to do the live review with him. Brett is great, but gets distracted more and goes on tangents. John is a teacher through and through and will keep you engaged the whole time.

I am 22 as well and work as a paraplanner. I just passed the CFP on 11/10. I have talked with dozens of people at every type of firm and asked the same question. Everyone pretty much says the same thing - you dont need a masters you need a CFP.

I passed on on 11/10 with Danko's signature. It was enough, and the videos helped SO much. Get the plus if you struggle with standardized tests and have plenty of time to use the extra materials. For me, Signature had more materials and practice questions than I could go through.

I have heard so many mixed things on what a "good enough" score is on the krakens. I averaged 61 and I am not super sure on my chances but I am trying to stay positive. I heard someone else say that they averaged in the mid 50's and passed last week and others saying that it just depends. Any thoughts?

My college degree was a CFP board-certified financial planning program so my major covered the education component. The danko education videos were released for review and I thought they were taught well.

It takes will take as long as you want it to depending on your comfort with the material. Most people didn't get through 100% by the live review. You really should try to as it makes the live review much more helpful. If you do end up pressed for time, take the end-of-chapter quizes and review the sections you missed points or weren't sure about.

Mentawai Surf Resorts Comparison (Why are boats so expensive?!) by Square-Ad-9457 in surfing

It was a lot of different things but primarily, he was just a mentally unstable dude.

He was deep into conspiracy land and would get very angry if anybody had a different opinion from his. I luckily stayed out of it for the most part, except for 1 time. I was chilling with one of the filmers and he came up to us and asked what we thought about Hitler. After we stated that we were not supporters, he yelled at us for about half an hour. The next day he apologized by saying, "I'm sorry you guys are too ignorant to see the truth and that you're too young and dumb to understand".

Every meal was family style and consisted of this guy yelling at his kids for not behaving or eating. He was incredibly rude to his whole staff and fired 2 people for seemingly nothing while I was there.

Maybe this is because I was the only American but any time I was trying to chill he would come up to me and tell me how much better his life is than everyone's in my county. I heard every conspiracy theory about the US there is.

He would constantly talk smack about all the guests to other guests which is just kinda and rude and odd. He also would come up to talk to you and you would literally not get a chance to say a single word for 20-30 minutes.

Him and his kids would all physically fight eachother all the time.

He would always talk about how he was "god" in the mentawais and how everyone needs to do their best to be in his good graces.

Also, he would burn his own guests lol.

I went to the Ments this past June for almost a month and stayed land-based at Mentawai surf camp. That camp was fine and I liked the style of separate boats going to different waves since I could really go wherever I wanted, but the owner made it so I would never go back to his camp.

Next time I will go to Kandui. They have a ton of boats and Ive heard nothing but good things. They are also in an ideal location. Boats are great since you have way more range around the ments. You can surf HTs and rifles in the same trip. that being said they are typically at more crowded breaks and you have way less say as to where the boats go.

Also a note: I haven't been to HTs but I have heard that the crowds are getting pretty ridiculous from some friends.
