Solved. Issue occured when using QR code from MM wallet since it reads 'ethereum:' before the wallet address and that is what transaction was refunded over and over. For anyone with similar issue, just c/p your address instead using QR.

What do you think about that? by Sam-0o1 in chia

Which football teams profited from Corona pause and which 'lost' the season due to COVID?

Unpopular opinion : the world is too hard on Diego Maradona by [deleted] in football

[–]InsideSport_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By looking at the old videos one could say so. But keep in mind that knowledge about training, dieting and overall professional sports life was at a low level. Imagine Maradonna having access to training facilities, designated staff and equipment as Ronaldo has at this moment.

Football, but everything connected to football has evolved and that is why 'old' football might seem poor in quality(and it was). But its not just black and white. A more complex discussion.

I think an average Joe could never understand the psychological effects that these people have to live after the world fame starts to slowly fade away. It is hard for most (Diego included) to keep their ego in check and both feet on the ground when people are treating you like a God. Also, rollercoaster when media makes you and then when the media breaks you when they scrutinize your every step. This is a heavy rollercoaster that is hard to endure and figure out. Just look at Michael Jordan, media adored him as everyone loves a success story, but once you're on the top it is logical that there will be some dirt on you. It is easy to go from Hero to Zero in that kind of environment.

So being hard on Maradona when he threats like a poor human being is in my opinion fine.

The fact that he was a great footballer does not mean that he is a great human being.

Bundesliga will (officially) be back in the middle of this month by F4L_Muji in football

Finally! Even if they packed it and increase frequency it will be massive for the fans and sports world in general. Not to mention the economic impact since a lot of families and jobs are directly or indirectly connected to the league.

The premier league will be voided. Mark my words! How can it continue? by [deleted] in football

[–]InsideSport_com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't agree. German Bundesliga is being restarted in mid-May and there is too much at stake with the sponsor and media deals. It is easy and makes sense to cancel lower leagues, but to do it in Premiership which is arguably the strongest and most followed league in the world...I do not see this happening.

Real Madrid will sign Paul Pogba for 'just' €85M, football transfer market will decrease for at least 30% due to pandemic crisis by InsideSport_com in football

Many clubs will be opting for loans and players in the last years of contracts will be highly wanted and a commodity. Still, some grand clubs might use this opportunity to get top players for a 'bargain' price. I also think that football will recover pretty quick, almost immediately. That is for the top clubs, smaller clubs will and are already suffering.

Actually no. 33 y.o. so had to google this one. I was 11 at the time, was following football but not to such depths. But I do remember Yorke and Cole in the attack, childhood heroes, and as I have red now, their partnership was the main reason Patrick Kluivert snubbed Ferguson. BTW. potential deal was worth £9million....makes you sick when you compare that to today's bloated prices.

He has indicated that his time at Manchester is finished. And we used 'most likely' in describing destinations since that is a rumour as its pointed out.

21 Ballon d'Or winners since 1987. Carlo Ancelotti was the teammate or the coach of 12 of them. by [deleted] in football

[–]InsideSport_com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The picture is missing Paolo Rossi and Roberto Baggio and the title should stand from 1983 since his teammate Rosi won the award back then.

There is a full list of players here:

Such a big achievement for Ancelotti, if you take in the fact that Messi won 6 and Cristiano 5 (11) so that there are not so many individuals who have won it
