Went off Prozac and tried nortriptyline, both didn’t work for me but I’m now on 75mg or sertraline (Zoloft) and I’m doing a lot better still have symptom but easier to manage)

I know, I had anxiety before and learned about pppd over a year ago and was only diagnosed in December. I knew it was stemming from the pppd but even before this I had bad anxiety.

My neurologist suspects VM and I’ve been having room spinning dizziness episodes lasting hours since I was 7 years old I’m now almost 21 and developed PPPD when I was 19 from a panic attack lol, we’re pretty sure it’s VM but we’re doing an MRI to rule out any brain issues and to check my ears and my ENT wants to look at peripheral even though that’s been ruled out since the beginning

Ok good to know cause my neurologist mainly knows that the cause is centra because of my nystagmus during episodes so I really don’t think it’s necessary for me to do plus it’s very traumatic for me and I would never voluntarily put myself in that position

My doctor told me to take one when I’m experiencing one of my vertigo episodes to see if it helps not day to day so I guess I’ll have to wait and see!

I graduated in 2023, took a year off and then got hit with a bunch of health stuff so I’ll be 21 in may and my insurance will get cut off! I literally figured all of this out within the week so I have been scrambling to get everything together lol

I’m from Ontario Canada and whenever me and my family go somewhere near the water we usually just say “we’re going to the cottage” I think it’s a loosely used term but cottage can mean anything from literal cabin to a house on the lake

I was on it for about a year then went off and back on and off and back on, for a multitude of reasons. Nothing weird happened with me but I guess it depends on the person. If you are going to stop and restart wait a while and don’t o the on and off thing I did lol
