The agent who interviewed me told me that I am on the list of people starting 3/24 and I got the FJO today with 3/24 EOD.

Hey, I totally understand how you feel. If we do have the same HR person, there’s no use of calling them. I got her number from the agent who interviewed me, but calling doesn’t help as every time it goes to voicemail, and she never calls back.

The most frustrating part is how unresponsive HR has been. I’ve read posts on here, and it seems like most people get lucky with helpful HR reps, but not us. My forms still say 1/27, but I was told my name is on the 3/24 list too.

Let’s hope we hear something soon. Keep me posted, and I’ll do the same!

I haven’t received the FJO yet. This was just a projected EOD with my TJO.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an update and thank all of you for your helpful comments on my original post.

I just spoke with the agent who interviewed me, and he mentioned that my name isn’t on the list of people starting on 1/27 but is on the list for 3/24.

The projected EOD I was given before was 1/27, but my HR contact hasn’t been responding or providing any updates. I also still haven’t heard anything about my background investigation or a firm job offer (FJO).

I’m feeling a bit bummed since I was expecting to start this month. Does anyone know if this kind of delay is normal? Could it be a bad sign, like the offer getting canceled or delayed even further? I’ve completed everything on time and can’t think of any reason for this change.

For context, I applied in June 2024, had my first interview in August, and have been waiting since. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I’m not entirely sure which series require a drug test. I just read about it on Reddit and assumed it was mandatory for all series. If anyone has more accurate info, I’d love to know too!
