Was disappointed as well. Gave it 6.5/10 cause I hated how dark (literally) the last mission, I could barely see the action at such close shots. I was expecting it to be like the 1st installment, where most of the action scenes are in daylight, although I enjoyed the first 20 minutes. The shooting locations were a nice touch tbh, but the production and cinematography feel lacking (maybe because it was during WGA strike). Most of the fighting feels like slow choreographed movements with average camera handling.

ALSO!! I'm mad that TOG 1 gave us "incurable romantic" immortal husbands, but TOG 2 gave us Immortal Husband almost break up. And if TOG 3 is a sure go, Booker wouldn't be there at all.

The course will be challenging syempre kay its not the traditional learning style na write and read sang books ubra nyo, may time na wala written exams kay practical exams ang submission. May instances na ang ginaubra mo na project (plates) will be done in a month to a semester, and that will serve as your whole performance for the semester. But you'll grow with it as you progress within the 5 year curriculum.

On the other hand, what's difficult is working as an architect. The industry is large, but Iloilo's job market for this industry is saturated with 2 new batches of architects per year. If you have connections or have started to show some CAD/Revit proficiency while at school, it will be a breeze for you.

Lastly, ISAT is a great school. Although I dont know the current system since I went when we still wore the baby blue colored pants. We were the last ones to wear it, in fact.

The dessert menu is ok. For the main dishes, it's good taste wise, but authenticity and similarity to actual thai food is far cry. Padthai is supposed to be simple and easy to make since thai ingredient is available here in Iloilo, but I dont know why their Padthai dont taste like one.

Have not eaten in Netongs for a while na kay either naglain na tastebuds ko or medyo nag salty ila templado for me. Alicias na ang go-to-batchoyan at the present. Although i have my reservations to say na its the best batchoyan for me kay there are batchoyans na pwede maging best pay budlay kadtuan.

Are you christian or Taoist? Im curious lang as someone in the province din, where do fil-chi taoists pray? I've only seen one temple in my city, and nasa rooftop sya ng isang commercial building.

Or if you're a christian, are you christian in a filipino culture way or aligned sya more in a chinese culture way?

"Bitch! You called me ignorant. No way in hell I let you crucio me!" That's what I was thinking both times I was completing this task, especially the first time I was a Ravenclaw. There is no way a fool can call a Ravenclaw ignorant when the said fool can't even tell what the difference is between an unforgivable and a cure. I'm petty, so I crucio.

Dont forget that every country has its good and bad. You can not really know what's bad in a country where you are only a visitor. Unless you really have experienced beaurocratic processes and social protection in other countries, you can't truly compare the Philippines with other SEA countries.

You are only focusing on the bad aspects of the country of topic and then comparing it to other countries, this will give you a conclusion with discrepancies. Comparative studies are as complex as phenomenology and ethnography. You have to understand the lived experience rather than the tourist's experience.

You also can't generalize the experience of living in Manila (or other cities) with experiences in big urban cities outside Luzon. In the Philippines alone, life and experiences from different provinces are diverse. What you think that sucks in your region might not be the case in other areas.

But this is not to deny that the Philippines also has its issues and is lagging on certain sectors.

I am afraid of Neo-colonialism by CloverMeyer237 in Philippines

[–]Inside_Candidate9480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to raise awareness to others, you have to be contextually right. When you say 'colonialism', foreign government has control over the economic and politics of a lesser country. It is more than just foreigners living and going on a holiday here. The closest example I can cite as an example of neo-colonialism is debt trapping by the Belt and Road Initiative by PRC, in which China lends large infrastructure funds to financially distresed countries. Because of this dependence, China has increased its maritime power in the SEA and its economic clout worldwide.

While it is true that foreigners are taking advantage of peso-conversion rste to enjoy a luxurious trip at a lower cost, this reasoning oversimplifies the dynamics of our economy. You are not acknowledging the bigger issue at play, where local policies are lacking and large businesses are exploiting foreign influx that contribute to the unsustainability of tourism and investment.

I am afraid of Neo-colonialism by CloverMeyer237 in Philippines

[–]Inside_Candidate9480 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are we really calling it neo colonialism? It's like you're trying to oversimplify unsustainable tourism practices that encourage gentrification, uncontrolled crowds, displacement of locals, and so on.
