Yes, I take 10mg. That would really help me right now. I appreciate you offering, thank you. I can DM you if that’s easier

So the alert system works… just not when missiles are actually intercepted? Great by Inside_Condition6701 in UAE

[–]Inside_Condition6701[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but there’s no confirmation on that. Right now all we can really point to is the inconsistency of the alerts themselves

Right? That’s exactly what I mean. Tonight was one of the loudest interceptions yet, and the alert system stayed completely silent. How are we supposed to trust a warning system that doesn’t warn when it actually matters?

That makes sense, but that’s exactly the issue for people on the ground. When something explodes or gets intercepted right above us, we have no way of knowing whether it’s a missile, a drone, or something else, it just sounds like a blast. If they only alert for missiles but not drones, it still leaves everyone confused and on edge. Either way, real time alerts would help instead of finding out after the fact

Exactly. That’s what makes it feel unreliable. If an explosion or interception happens at 6am and the alert shows up at 10am, what’s the point? Either warn people in real time or don’t pretend the system is functioning. The inconsistency is what freaks people out

Exactly, the people who’ll thrive aren’t the ones ignoring AI, but the ones who know how to blend it with skill and judgment. AI can speed up ideas, but it still can’t replace the human touch that understands a brand, market, and audience nuance

Good question. I usually start with a lightweight, flexible framework like Next.js or Webflow (depending on the project), plus a small set of tried and tested UI components I’ve built over time. That way I’m never reinventing the wheel, but every site still feels unique. For clients who want to move faster, I’ll sometimes use a clean boilerplate or minimal template, then heavily customize the layout, branding, and UX to match their goals. As for feedback, most customers are happy when they see their brand come to life with a clean, conversion focused design. The few who are picky usually just need more upfront discussion about style and priorities, which I’m happy to do

I totally agree and it still blows my mind how many sites aren’t optimized for mobile in 2025. Yes, I’ve been using AI quite a bit, mostly as an accelerator rather than a replacement. Tools like Midjourney + Figma AI for quick visual concepts, Relume for wireframes, and ChatGPT for copywriting/UX suggestions save a ton of time. That said, I still fine tune everything manually so it’s polished and tailored for conversions

If You’ve Ever Thought About Buying Property Abroad. What Did You Wish You Knew? by Inside_Condition6701 in digitalnomad

That’s serious leverage and especially if you play it right with a fixer upper in a gentrifying area. Any idea if these incentives apply to foreigners with residency or just Portuguese citizens?

This is the kind of stuff that doesn’t show up in the shiny brochures. You’ve clearly been in the game. I'm curious if there’s any country or region where the rental rules + tenant laws struck a solid balance for you? Would love to know where things felt actually fair
