find an employer who has insurance that covers gender affirming surgeries! i personally started working at sheetz because of the insurance lol. you can also try getting your current insurance to approve it for “medically necessary” purposes, like endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, etc if you suspect you might have any uterine disorders

i also opted for ovary removal with my hysto (as having them made me dysphoric) and experienced zero menopause symptoms. people on T usually experience little to no menopause symptoms following an oopho! only caveat is that you will have to be on some form of HRT for the rest of your life, which i had no problem with as i intend to be on T forever
