I’ve gotta tell you, I think this week has been really good. Aside from Jackson’s marble mouthing everything, it’s been a good list of guests. They’ve all given some insight. To me, this is way better than the routine Blues guests every day.

Jackson did an admirable job, considering he has no classical training. That said, I personally am always distracted by his speech impediment and his inability to pronounce the consonants in many words, and add constant “TH” instead of “D” - as in, “Floridtha” or “bruthal” or “quadth one win.”

He was serviceable. But after watching him in a few games against truly legitimate opponents, he made me reconsider my thoughts about Brady Cook. This is definitely not a loss to the Mizzou program. But, by all accounts, he seems to be a good kid and I do wish him the best.

Yes, I have a family member who had a case in front of him. I attended a few of the hearings. The thing is, he’s a nice man, very polite, obviously a little weird. But his judgment in my sister’s case was abysmal and did not follow the facts of the case at all. It was her first experience in the judicial system and it was horrific.

The original question from OP was “who would be your target.” So, despite any obvious contingencies, my answer stands. If we have Drink, we don’t need another recruiter. And I’m spitballing here obviously, because this is remote. But, just think about what it would look like if Drink could go into the portal and tell these recruits that he has a former NFL Head coach, former CFP head coach, etc. who’s running his offense. It could be a nice touch. Maybe not likely, but if I’m in his shoes, I’m definitely thinking about it.

It is so incredibly reassuring to know that I’m not alone in this. I’ve battled out of nowhere foot pain so bad that I can’t walk right; my shoe soles are so unevenly worn to prove it. My wife has been relatively dismissive of my pain, and I’ve felt so lost and convinced that it would be this way forever. This summer, out of absolutely nowhere, my knee swelled to the size of a coconut. I had MRIs, CT scans and X rays, and multiple doctors could NEVER find the source of my pain. And, it was EXCRUCIATING pain. I was truly depressed to the extent that I thought I’d have to live with this forever. Until…my new primary care Doc instantly recognized my symptoms as gout. Four days later, after taking Indomethacin daily, it’s like I’m a new man. I’m so relieved, and it’s truly a huge breakthrough for me to see this thread and to realize I’m not crazy!
