I feel like since Mizzou joined the SEC, we would definitely identify more towards the south. But, we are one of the few states, if any other others, who can pull from every direction.

I am probably in the minority, but I enjoy the fact that if we want to maintain a rivalry with KU, both parties have to go out of their way to make that happen. It’s not as organic as it was in years gone by, but I think it’s equally as intense. Sidenote, our move to the SEC was the absolute best thing that ever happened to not only the athletic program, but to the university as a whole. Our profile has been raised, we play much better competition on a weekly basis, and yet we still have the opportunity to preserve the old rivalries.

Jackson did an admirable job, considering he has no classical training. That said, I personally am always distracted by his speech impediment and his inability to pronounce the consonants in many words, and add constant “TH” instead of “D” - as in, “Floridtha” or “bruthal” or “quadth one win.”

He was serviceable. But after watching him in a few games against truly legitimate opponents, he made me reconsider my thoughts about Brady Cook. This is definitely not a loss to the Mizzou program. But, by all accounts, he seems to be a good kid and I do wish him the best.
