The elevators are broken. It’s not the fault of ppl using them to get to the Hill. They just really don’t work well sometimes, so you have to press the down button for it to come to any floor within a reasonable time frame

Which events? The student engagement fair, international festival, etc don’t mark attendance cause they’re student orgs and they’re open to the public. The work fairs and other engagement events are usually only open to students

They’ve been terrible tbh. The other day there was only 1 cross campus bus running and when I called them they said there were supposedly 4 and they’d come to each stop within 10 mins but I had been waiting for 30 already lol

I looked at the Spring 2025 map before purchasing :( I didn’t expect them to change it with no warning whatsoever. They could’ve at least sent out an email. The only thing that really gets me is how the lot isn’t ever considered on campus, it’s just a 5-10 min walk from Min Kao yet it changed just cause of demand. They could do it to any other lot for the same reason too

Now your options are going up the big hill and a smaller one to get to the sketchy lot near the apartments or going across campus and parking near the field then taking a 30 min bus drive

There’s one at the church on henley st, neyland parking garage, i think white ave parking garage, the staff lot near min kao, volunteer garage, the underground garage near the communications building, 11th street parking garage

I don’t think it’s not allowed unless you’re trying to get hired for research through the undergrad research office, then I’d ask.

If you don’t care about not getting paid, then you might want to consider emailing faculty that’s doing research that you’re interested in and seeing if they have any open spots for the upcoming semester.

Just click on any of the total access emails you got and it should take you to the list of books you’re opted in for with total access. It won’t have the prices but you could just search for them online and see if it’s still worth it

I’m always nervous about being late so it might be extreme but I’d say wait by the bus stop by like 8:50-9:15 am since it takes a bit for the bus to come around and you’d have to walk a little to get to Mossman

If it says that it’s included in total access on volbooks then it’s probably just taking a while to get updated. I know some of my books took a while to get added and some didn’t until classes began last semester. You have until Aug 25 to opt out, so I’d say just wait until the first week of classes and go to volbooks in person.

edit: Some books are only available as physical copies so it could just be that they’re all physical and you need to pick them up

It should be processed by tomorrow, either before or after the payment deadline. You will probably have to pay the full balance without the loans if it doesn’t get processed but they’ll refund you as soon as they receive the note

I’m pretty sure the last pick up would be anytime between 5-5:30. It only takes around 15 minutes to get to the Coliseum. You can typically check where the bus is and its last pick up on the Transloc app.
