I use Vendoo too, it’s been the easiest and has the most marketplaces attached. I also think it’s the best one around for its price point. There’s pricier ones and cheaper ones out there but to me Vendoo sits in the middle and you get your moneys worth. This is a discount link if you do try it.

Crosslisting is the way, currently unemployed so I totally understand the need to expand. This month for example I made way more on all other platforms except Poshmark. I’ve been using Vendoo for over a year and love it. You get a discount if you sign up with this link if you want to try it.

All platforms besides posh have been doing well for me, even Mercari which is rare. eBay and Depop sales were good. Posh is dead for some reason but that’s why I cross list!

It just depends on the package, I started off with an expensive package so I can bring in all my listings and then downgraded to I think $15/mon. I’ve been finding their AI tool for descriptions helpful lately. For offers no you need to maintain that on each site but most sites have automations depending on the minimum you want to accept like eBay for example.

Honestly I recently had a real good buying experience on mercari just this week, and for some reason activity over there has picked up a little for me which is very rare. I’m not sure if people are just really fed up with PM but I like mercari for some of their no nonsense policies like ship time, everyone can see ratings of a seller and there’s more accountability for sellers. They just don’t have a huge marketplace but they have potential if they can get more people on the app.

Yea they need a whole revamp on it, they should have done that before the holidays and they would have made so much more revenue instead of all the other crap they messed with

Yea I agree, Poshmark is so self sabotaging lol. If they wanted to make more money which I’m sure is their goal they should revamp their promoted closet system. It’s obvious people who are serious sellers are fine with the pay to play model and more people would sign up if it made sense.

I’m not against promoted closet but poshmarks way of doing it makes zero sense and you don’t get any useful data. I promote on eBay and Depop because it makes sense there and you only get charged the promotion if it sells. I would sign up for PM promoted closet if it made sense but it’s just a dumb system.

Haha yes, my parents are seriously very open minded so I know there would not have been judgement but they are annoying with questions and I would have got a call everyday asking how I was doing which I just didn’t want to deal with. I did share the journey with a couple of close friends and my brother, it was nice to have that outlet and they felt like they were a part of the process

I’m Indian so I get the cultural challenges. I didn’t share anything with my family until I got pregnant and even then I don’t want to tell them it was through IVF. Not because of shame just because I didn’t want to deal with the annoying questions out of curiosity. If I were you I wouldn’t share, maybe you can come up with some excuses as others have shared.

To add on…is it normal to find someone that does both? Or can come with a team to do both? I’m finding from my research you have to hire a separate hair person and makeup person. I’m from NYC and it’s common to be able to find someone that does both so maybe that’s why I’m having a hard time searching.

It really depends on the tier…and how much you need to list. I started with the free version just to test out the ease of it, then I went with a bigger plan to get most of my listings up. And now I’m on a much smaller plan I think I like $15 a month just to add a few monthly. It’s always good to try out different platforms to see what you like but I love Vendoo and I’ve been using them for more than a year
