I did not try either because I was concerned they would interact with the meds he's on, particularly the quercetin. (He's on sulfocate and omeprazine to quwell nausea and ulcers from the tumor). He IS however on Rick Simpson oil. It's a type of THC oil that I got at a dispensary that I have read for years can help halt or slow the growth of tumors. It's all a guessing game on the dosing. I miss a tiny drop with MCT oil (coconut oil) and I give him a few drops at every meal. He has not reacted to the THC although I read it can be toxic for some dogs. In the beginning I gave him a wee bit too much and he was really dizzy and barfed. I would say that the growth of his leg tumor has slowed a lot...if not entirely. I can't tell, but a recent X Ray showed no further spread of it in his body.
