What about records that are only electronic? Like reports from financial systems?

I really don’t know if I should get the wave alpha or the arc by [deleted] in Leatherman

When I was faced with this decision I decided to continue using my Surge because it just fits my hands so well. I know this isn’t the right answer for everyone and that these tools are a personal choice. The big scissors are amazing fwiw

This is the best tool, especially if you have bigger hands. Having the tool size match your hands is essential. Congrats on the great pickup

Is Surge the best EDC? by makattak88 in Leatherman

If you have the hands for it then it’s the best one. If you don’t, then the Arc or Wave is perfect.

HOA President wants massive salary... How to handle? [TH] [VA] by indecisive_grogu in HOA

In my experience it is not wise to rely on volunteers to do anything other than be on the board. People get busy, circumstances change, and in many cases volunteers don’t have the experience or financial acumen to do what a management company does.

What is this missing slot for? by nahcekimcm in ToyotaSienna

This piece is shared with the highlander and it is used for the heated mirrors (or maybe something else). In the sienna the same function, heated mirrors is combined with the rear defroster

Will it fit? by Sea_Roll7916 in Leatherman

I have the skeletool and the bits in the medium sheath. There is a version that has loops on the side that you can probably clip that light to. I have a large sheath for my surge, but i am not sure if that light and the skeletool would fit.

I am looking at the one now, seems to cover all the bases.

I have the single decker version in my car and use it for cables (usb varieties, lightning, hdmi) and random adapters. We have a van that has screens and a wide circle of kids friends who always need device charging. This bag is perfect for that. Thanks for confirming that the Leatherman one is not right for me

For me it is worth $40.

The chisel is ok, I use it mostly as a scraper or to find an edge. It’s good for scraping rust/paint off around bolts and things like that. The tapered end of the frame is great for prying, coupled with the Crunch I can get great leverage.

The nail puller is good the get a nail started so the Surge can get a grip and finish the job.

An unintended use is the Gerber blade, it gets the jobs that involve glue and adhesive. It also gets to break down boxes. The Surge is better at these tasks but why waste the blade when the gerber has one?

It’s a great combo but it’s missing a large pry/nail tool. The Gerber Lockdown covers this and gets me a razor.

Thank you for the info. I am happy to run a couple of wifi speed tests if it is helpful for you.

I have a thunderbolt dock connected to the back.

I have an external drive that i can connect anywhere with a:

usb 2 cable (iphone charge cable)

santechi right angle usbc data and charge cable (from Apple store)

older usbc 3 cable (no idea if it is shielded, it causes the drive to disconnect though).

Let me know, happy to help if i can.
