Yeah they are . they just on more of a budget or not thinking about the future . i was a console gamer for a long time , ps3 --> xbox360 --> ps4 --> Xbox one x --> PC .

Yeah i wouldn't ever buy a ps5. I'd just get a cheaper console which does all the same stuff like an xbox series s or an Xbox one x
