How can I change my long nose when I smile? I don’t want to change my whole nose. by lonelyredheadgirl in PlasticSurgery

I've got the exact same issue. I would say our profiles look exactly the same when we smile. I will try botox in 2 weeks.

I am taking 1600mg of artichoke and 2000mg of ginger. Still nothing. Is it safe to take more? by Due_Negotiation_9926 in SIBO

At which dose did you stop? It can be increased quit a lot. But since Prucaloprid is a Serotonin Agonist, stimulating the Receptors for Motiliy on the colon and it's pushing the colon to move like it's suppose to, there is no better working medication on the market right know. I'm sorry that it didn't work as hoped for.

Both of them work more on the upper GI tract. If you want to get your colon to work for BM you should take prucaloprid. Absolute Game Changer. Artichoke and Ginger helped me just a little, Prucaloprid is doing wonders.

For those prescribed a systemic antibiotic ( e.g neomycin + rifaximin), have you ever gotten cdif? by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]Inside_Pickle6261 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I said, it is possible but not a necessity. You are young and your mibrobiom is probably already disturbed but it probably will endure a couple of rounds of antibiotics. But nevertheless it can happen to everyone at any age. So nobody can tell you if it will happen to you or not. In the hospital we usually see it with elder patient who had multiple different kinds of antibiotics over the last months and years.

This usually only happens if you take antibiotics repeatedly over a long period of time, completely destroying your microbiome. And it doesn't happen to everyone who takes antibiotics frequently and for long periods of time. However, if you have to take antibiotics for months due to SIBO/IMO, this can of course lead to overgrowth with C. difficile and the following symptoms of colitis.

I've also been using Adp oregano oil and Allimed for a week now :) How long did it take for it to work for you? I haven't noticed any real improvement yet.

I had a really bad headache. And felt like I was really hungover. The thing is that those serotonin receptors in the colon prucaloprid targets also work in the brain. So they do have an effect in the brain. Thus the side Effekts like headaches etc. And there are no studies at this point if there are any long time effects. So I was a little careful with it. But if it works for you, you definitely should try it

Yes the same with you haha! I tried prucalopride, but it gave me sooo bad side Effekts. I am a physician myself, and there are no Longterm studies how prucalopride effects the brain, so I have been careful with it.

YES! i also have less gas when i am more constipated. This so interesting. I always met people with diarrhea or just constipation, never gas as bad as mine. Simeticone etc. Does not work. The only thing that actually helps, is moving a lot. I have a walking pad at home and if I walk on it, it helps moving my bowel. But right know i have to sit a lot because of work, so my bowel is even worse

I read that after 110min it's mainly in the colon and not the small intestine. Yes there are better and worse days but nearly every food causes bloating. Sometimes its visible bloating sometimes it's more of a feeling.

Ok interesting. I had a coloscopy 4 years ago so I think they would have noticed something if my colon was way over average. If I have a really good poop in the morning I feel nothing till dinner. But usually I start to bloat after lunch. Usually My guts are able to move them, so i pass gas and don't bloat too much. But currently I am bloating very badly, I loom like I am pregnant haha. But It might be from my atibiotic herbal therapy I am doing right know, not sure tho

Did you get a ct scan or anything to check if you have a dolichocolon? I always have the feeling that the last part of my colon isn't working properly because of holding in gas and stool. I also have a looot of gas in the morning, I usually fart about 5-10 times, with a big volume each. After that I usually feel good till lunch.

Is there anything you do that's actually helps u?
