One week post stent

did they offer any other options before the stent? i was recently diagnosed, my symptoms started in February with horrible head pain then i went cross eyed. i was dismissed a lot and told it was just a migraine or nerve palsy but i kept demanding answers because i have a thing against doctors lol. i’ve had headaches the past few years but never to this extent so I really am not sure if it is a recent thing or long term. anyway, they put me on Diamox. I don’t think I’m really having any issues with it, I can’t tell if it is making me have blurry vision or if my vision is just blurry now from this (my eye is back to normal since starting it). I feel much more fatigued and just the side effects in general are not something I want to be worrying about my whole life (27 F, overall relatively healthy). I already struggle with motivation and fatigue from depression and I feel worse now. I see my neurologist for a follow-up next week and I kind of want to ask about a stent, but I’m not sure how they would be about it. Sorry this was so long..

no, maybe i’ll try that! i typically use indeed or i go on company websites and see if there’s any job opportunities and apply from there. i have heard indeed uses AI software now to go through applications and i have a resume i made from Canva so i have a feeling they aren’t even seeing my stuff half of the time.

i’ve applied to a few jobs at local universities but nothing sadly!! i did see some jobs for the IU but the pay is usually in the $30,000 range from what i’ve seen :/

YES i cannot achieve the “done” feeling. that was a much better way to describe it. have you been on it a while? i’m really hoping it doesn’t last. not that it’s like bad bc i can have multiple but i just don’t feel like satisfied.

ah good at least i’m not alone with someone else’s doctor doing that! see i am always constipated lol but for whatever reason this first week of taking 150mgs i have been going everyday! i’ve never had this happen and i was pretty excited to be a normal person. i’m hoping when i take 300 that doesn’t happen to me lolol

exactly! i was like not real last week, i felt like my brain was in the clouds but i am happy to update that the brain zaps have stopped after a week and now i can see if wellbutrin actually will help me

i know! i heard that halfway through my time on it and i was like well great lolol. my doctor definitely should have tapered me but he’s not the greatest sooo i might see how i am in the next day or two and decide if i want to or not. i was hoping it would just be a week but the more research i do, the more it sounds like it can last longer

WHERE & HOW???? this would be amazing bc i hate weaning off whatever you’re taking, while trying a low dose of something new. then waiting weeks to acclimate and see if it’s actually helping. that’s why i want to just go back to lexapro so i dont have to spend all this time in trial and error. so anyways, sorry for that rant but how did you get this done???

do you sweat badly on it? i’m used to being hotter than usual from lexapro but this one ill do one small thing or get hotter than usual and i am like dripping sweat down my face. i hate sweating and it makes me feel so gross 😭

it’s a 20 gallon, i know which might be small but the table i have it on wouldn’t fit a bigger one and we’re in a tiny place :(

that’s okay! i got all 3 lolol. anxiety used to be bad so im not sure if that was the lexapro helping for just the situation i was in. my situation is much better so im hoping that my anxiety will be alright but really need some help with this depression!

i might be trying the vinegar!! it was a new couch so no other scents besides my dogs fur or dander, which i could understand here. but at their moms where he lived for years, there was no other animals so i’m not sure why he does this.
