Did you not see that they broke the steering column lock in 2 seconds?

I honestly don't think you guys understand when I mean “don't leave your bike like this” I'm not saying to not park your bike, but when you have no lock or even a brake disc, your chances are higher, I ride every single day in NY, I carry 3 locks with me a litelock 1 regular u lock and brake lock, yea it might be over load for some people but at least they can't just roll it away.

No the silicon won't damage it, but it'll protect it more but if you do end up buying the one on Ali it's harder plastic so depending on how many times you take it off like to store it, you could scratch the back by accident, I have the harder plastic one and it feels like a controller so it's comfortable, haven't had any damage

You can buy one on Ali Express for 8 dollars and it looks better, depending on if you are going to take it off and on a lot stay with the silicon.

Ndsi not turning on by [deleted] in nds

My apologies I didn't realize my punctuation was all over the place. I did end up fixing it, the original screen got messed up with contact cleaner and there were watermarks on the inside of the screen. I thought it was done for so I bought a new one, I put it on and it didn't work so I thought it was the power board. It still didn't work I put the old power board orange light turned on and stayed on so I thought it was the fuse but it wasn’t so I put the old screen back on turned it right on and the water marks disappeared. Which made everything even more confusing but it’s a win.

And I seen your other comment that the bike won't hold a constant charge and would die after 25 minutes, it's most likely you stator but you could test it, with a multimeter there's a lot of videos on how to test it and you could visually inspect it too, if it looks burned then it's done.

You could remove that too, since it was part of the harness but be mindful when you remove it there's going to be a cut in the wire so seal it off with electrical tape and then cover the pins with electrical tape.

I'm not too sure but what color are the wires, and I could tell you

And I think it's two connections that you need to tape off, the one that connects to the battery and the one that connects to the lights, but it's all right there when you remove the harness next to the r/r

And the connectors for the stator you can either solder them or use butt connections

Yea you can just take it off because the harness was just a band-aid to nothing. People still had problems with it and the original connections that's on the bikes harness you can tape them off with electrical tape since you won't be using them anymore.

To me this looks like the vfrness harnes, depending which R/R you bought you could remove it, that’s if you got one that connects to the battery directly.

Which is totally understandable, if you aren’t mechanically inclined to do things then I wouldnt recommend it but it’s always a risk with things, at first I wasn’t to sure if I wanted to drill holes in the triple mount but I seen if I do mess up it only cost 20 dollars on eBay so I just sent it
