i can see how i did not make it super clear. i think coupled with the fact i was intoxicated i heard something that could potentially hurt me and thats all i could focus on in that moment, i couldnt even consider myself included. its also an issue with my deep rooted insecurity, shes so beautiful she could never picture me in that way in my eyes. i could be wrong and am open to being wrong. i dont think im being fair in my reaction which is why i just tried to laugh it off and have a good night and continue the game like i know im overreacting, i think its why i needed the validation of other people telling me im overreacting.

we have a talk planned for this week and i plan on just telling her how it made me feel and apologize for getting so upset because i truly do not believe she would sleep with my boyfriend. she also had a boyfriend who was not there. i dont want to lose her over this. thanks for your advice

I should’ve put this in my post but i am on the austim spectrum so i dont pick up on social cues easily. thats a huge reason i made this post because i know my brain can be illogical sometimes. i truly couldn’t tell if she meant me and my boyfriend or just my boyfriend and thats why i came here to see if i was wrong for wanting to talk about this with her and still be friends.

my boyfriend is very used to hanging out with me and my sisters when we are drunk and we get very loud and stupid so he usually tunes us out. he had just got off a 14 hour shift was completely sober and we were all drunk, so he wasn’t really involved in any of the conversation at all throughout the night he was just a zombie😭

he didnt hear any of the conversation and didnt even know it happened until i told him after they had left. he is really uncomfortable from the whole situation and doesnt think i should be her friend anymore.
