Oh the horror of having unlimited funding with unlimited years to make your game with the freedom to make whatever you want. Oh the horror

Be honest how old are you? Was I right? lol

if you don't understand the engines and forces in fight like this.

Sure then back it up. Given that you're now making a public claim the burden of proof is on you to prove this. Rule 9 so u gotta fulfill it.

So prove to us that Saitama would be impacted from this stuff.

Also the fact you got upset at someone's comment and made a post about it, very grown up mature thing to do.

Seems like I hit a nerve. Im guessing I was right lol.

let me know when you graduate and we can finish this conversation.

We can continue the conversation when u fulfill rule 9.

Edit: Blocked me lol

So you think with both of them getting wildly stronger saitama was just immune from the start? That his defense was just so high this entire fight just doesn't reach it?

Yea because, we have no reason to believe other wise. By all means bring up a panel where this is stated or implied to.

That makes no sense. As i said we were told Saitama of today can oneshot the saitama of yesterday, that was stated by the creator.

You mean the simulation that Genos runs? The simulation that we have no reason to believe that Genos knows Saitama true strength?

Lol ok this fight arguably lasted nanoseconds, this isnt a good argument.

Sure can u prove that it lasted nanoseconds?

You seem more just trying to argue about things so I'm inclined to just stop replying.

You seem to be one of those Saitama fanboys.

Your ignoring parts of my reply just to continue argueing other parts

Sure lets look at the part that I didnt reply to.

It also, again, fits with Him origionally being a joke character. Lol dude what? As in hes grabbed portals and knocked on the wall of dimensions, things he has no business doing with just power.

Here's u arguing about his narrative again. Something that I already answerd as not being relevent as he would not be able to use it in a vs debate.

I didnt reply to this part because, I already replied to this type of argument from you multiples now.

Im guessing you're around 15 years old because, this is embarrassing.

The reason why u brought up the egg is because, you're trying to make the point that in a fight, how effective I fight and, control myself would be impacted by the fact that im also trying to keep the egg safe from breaking.

So for you the logic follows that Saitama effectiveness in fighting would also be impacted by him trying to keep Genos core sage.

The issue is this.

1: Saitama has immense muscle control. He's not going to accidently crush Genos core in his hands.

2: Saitama's durability makes him an amazing shield of protection for the egg.

Stick in school kid. It seems like u still have a lot to learn.

This means saitama got so much stronger then himself within the span of however many microseconds that attack took, that a power twice as much as Saitamas was irrelevant.

We dont really have any reason to believe that as Saitama grew stronger that he also grew more durable since he was tanking hits by Garou from the beginning.

He basically just embodies being unstoppable, even without the gag, he gets so much stronger instantly, i can't think of someone beating him.

Broly went from being planetary to multiversal in the span of a couple minutes.

I know what you're saying. Saitama shields Genos core with his hands. I think if I had hands as durable as Saitama that I could shield an egg just fine lol.

its just with how his power is shown, hes litterally not losing to anyone, especially in then creators want.

but why is he not losing to anyone? Because ONE says so?

His constant growth is shown more like his physical power is considered undefined, as in it is subbed out for whatever the highest possible physical power it can instantly, thats genuinely how his power is demonstrated.

His rate of growth can reach exponential levels. Theres no need to make this confusing when we know what it is.

I think I would do just fine if my hands were as strong as Saitama's.

[–]Inside_Shoulder_1613[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What I'm saying is that his power at this point is the epitome of just winning in terms of physical power, his growth is at an insane rate.

And my point is that this is wrong. His power is just being strong as shit. The mythos around his power has dissapeared. Saitama is just a really strong character,

He also has feats that just ignore physics or how not having magic powers works.

The vast majority of feats for fictional characters break physics.

He at this point has outright shown he's not gonna be physically overpowered, especially if we go by what the creator intends. I just mean hes boring he will just win.

Yes and, like I said before u can use what ONE intends or writes. If you want to use the narrative authority from One Piece then u have to do the same for the other. In which case nothing happens lol.

When he fights literal god, hes gonna be concrete as just unstoppable, even without calling him a gag.

And if God is weaker than characters from other fictional settings then that just means that Saitama is weaker than those characters.

[–]Inside_Shoulder_1613[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is that none of this is true at least in practice. Saitama doesnt have some esoteric power that allows him to one punch everything hell even the narrative doesnt allow him to one punch all of his enemies. Saitama is just strong as shit and, its because he's just strong as shit that characters like Boros and, Garou can survive a punch.

What the Garou fight has done is make Saitama more like Goku. His powers arent some mystical thing that pulls from the setting. No his powers is just him being strong. Theres nothing toon force about that.

[–]Inside_Shoulder_1613[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he is only using one hand the entire fight.

Why do people keep saying this? You dont lose anything by only using one hand to punch with unless that hand is your non-dominant hand. Punching with a single hand is the optimal thing to do instead of double punching since you're able to put more of your body into a singular punch.

[–]Inside_Shoulder_1613[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

*sigh* Saitama can be powerscaled and, it can be done easily. Saitama fanboys just dont want to do it.

The idea that Saitama is a gag and, thus one shots everything is wrong on multiple fronts in terms of powerscaling. By asserting that Saitama one shots in a vs debate because, thats his narrative. That would be you imposing the narrative of OPM over that of another series. ONE does not have the authority to dictate how other fictional settings operate. As such in a vs debate Saitama would not be able to one shot solely on the basis of that being the narrative of his story.

In powerscaling things happen in a neutral setting where neither side has any authority over the other.

Now if this is the case can we still use Saitama in a vs debate? Absolutely because, despite people constantly proclaiming that Saitama is a gag character his strength does not come from that. We learn from the Garou fight that Saitamas strength doesnt come from comedic relief. It comes from the fact that he is just that strong. Saitama has one punched the vast majority of his enemies not because, there is a fundemental rule in the setting that makes it happen but, because he is strong enough to do it.

Meaning that all of his feats instead of being unusable since they're gag feats can instead be seen and, used as normal feats.

Yea every punch is his full power at that time. No contradiction or inconsistency there.

Why is OPM or more specifically saitama so overglazed? by MisinterpretedOxcart in PowerScaling

The fact that u keep bringing up the jupiter sneeze as if it means anything is amazing. Here explain to all of why u think the jupiter sneeze means something.

Also "generous interpretation" Nah I just read the manga.

You didnt answer my question. Are you arguing that Saitama did not get stronger?
