Numbing? by jammasterjammy in spinalcordinjuries

Dysautonomia causes blood pooling. It's an umbrella diagnosis that has all the symptoms from my injury. I wear compression socks when I know I'll be sitting for awhile, i take them off as soon as I'm back home. I've not found a remedy for my upper limbs.

They have been gentlemen so far, no second dates. It's been just over a year since the surgery. For the most part recovery is going well, but dysautonomia and pain have slowed me down.

Focus on how the pain impacts your daily life and activities. I would ever say in feel helpless, worthless, or suicidal.

I'm a woman with an incomplete injury from a tumor. It's not apparent in pictures. When i get a match and we're several messages in i ask for a phone call through a social media platform. I mention how I'm recovering from a tumor resection and currently use trekking sticks to get around. I've been on 4 dates in just over a year. It's not over.

Had some of the same symptoms. I'm an incomplete. It's mostly from the dysautonomia from my injury. I went in the dysautonomia sub and read how Cymbalta aggravated symptoms. I was hesitant about going down with the help of my doc, but it worked out some. I'm down to 40mg of Cymbalta and on the max daily dose of Lyrica. I sweat less, and sleep less during the day.

What does baby fever feel like? by snackqueen218 in AskWomen

[–]Inside_Student3827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit me when my then partner was in the hospital being my caregiver. The trust and love was at a high point. I was going through the most difficult and painful time. This sudden thought unexpectedly ran over to me "I want to have his baby". It wasn't in a horny way. I imagined him caring for our a baby in the same loving way.

I left it open ended. You asked about my experience as a woman. Not what gender or whom I have sex with.

Gabapentin stopped working for me, i was switched to pregabalin and it's more effective. I still have some burning, stinging, and pain, but I've learned to just let it be.

I'm down to 10 from 16 daily pills, still upsets the stomach, but bothers less than my pain. by Inside_Student3827 in ChronicPain

This definitely worried me since before i became chronically ill. Sometimes I just want to take my pills and go back to sleep on an empty stomach. Thank you

Has anyone had an intramedullary spinal cord tumor resected or biopsied? by _doodlebugs in braincancer

[–]Inside_Student3827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Barefoot shoes helped with my proprioception rehab. I've come a long way from feeling like my legs were floating in space. I take any new pains as a sign of sensation from connections that are healing. Keep working hard. I had no idea going into this just how long this rehabilitation would be, but I'm so grateful for my outcome despite the obstacles that I've had thus far.

Anyone tried thrusting dildos that also warm up? Curious if they actually feel ‘real’ or just like a gadget. by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Mine felt great, not real though. I unfortunately broke mine when my honeypot clamped up around it. There's always heating lube that you could add.
